What's crazy is how sad I look!! As if I got deserted right before Valentine's... And now that I'm thinking about it, this outfit could totally be good for that, haha! I adore this pink sweater. It's slouchy and cozy - just perfect.

The other thing I'm loving? Playing around with my hair. It's growing way fast! I only cut it two months ago and it's already almost too long for me to rock a plain ol' short 'do!

The last shot was a little close-up of the makeup; been experimenting with my NAKED and NAKED2 palettes almost every single day now... It's truly an obessession.

It has been unseasonably warm here for the middle of Winter. Especially considering I live nowhere near the west coast... It's truly a miracle. ♥

my top 5...

Change is really wonderful. I didn't get to share all of my reflections for 2011 [which might actually be a blessing for those of you reading this...], but I did want to share my top moments. The craziest, yet best things happened about September on, getting me more excited than ever for the new year. Here goes...

5. The loss of twenty pounds! [Downside: almost NONE of my former clothes fit. It's bittersweet, lol.]

4. Turning twenty-five. It truly was the best birthday I've ever had.

3. Learning about myself... This year, I discovered, among many things, a passion for running! Who knew??

2. Cutting off all my hair. Unbelieveably liberating... and I look quite fierce, if I do say so myself.

1. Spending tons of time getting closer to my family and best friend. I wouldn't trade my favorite people for anything in the world.

Fashion Week SS 2012 Trends

I've been perusing mags and sites in anticipation for Spring...

[Yes, I am aware that we are barely into January and I shouldn't really be thinking about warm weather just yet!]

I can't help it!! I'm already ready for warmer temperatures, budding flowers and leaves, drops of dew and of course FASHION.

I think I am most excited for the pastels and peplum. I can't wait to work them into heavy rotation. Color-blocking [my favorite!] looks like it's still going to be big too.

Happy 2012 everyone.

The start to a new year often means a fresh start, a new look and changes! It's no different for me either...
I thought it was time for a different look and maybe a change in the way I do my blogging in order to restart my drive and passion. To be honest, I never lost the love to speak, just found a hard time keeping up with what I thought others might find interesting. Then, I was reminded that one blogs for themselves and sprinkles in their personality to keep others interested! Let's give this another go, shall we??
